Conveyer Belt

NCH provides maintenance and lubrication solutions for rubber repair in a variety of industries.

Coal mines use steel reinforced conveyor belting for strength and durability on long runs. Repair of these sometimes several miles of belting can be dangerous, time consuming and very costly. Splice repairs require cutting the belts, which is been done with a standard abrasive wheel or carbide tipped blade on a circular saw. This method created a tremendous amount of rubber fumes and often left a jagged edge caused by the saw catching on the wires.

Other potential industries include:

  • Off-Road Construction Equipment repair
  • Tire repair
  • Athletic track repair
  • Plant rubber conveyer belts
  • Other construction equipment
