Unfortunately, the tank frequently developed rust, resulting in pitting and cavities, especially at welded joints, increasing the risk of punctures.<\/p>\n<p>The ongoing rust problem led to paint peeling, necessitating costly reapplications every three months, and raised concerns about potential structural damage, jeopardizing production continuity and risking substantial financial loss.<\/p>\n<p>NCH Asia Pacific provided a comprehensive solution to repair the tank\u2019s surface without welding and developed a long-term strategy to prevent further paint peeling. We utilized NCH <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nchasia.com\/en-sg\/product\/aqua-stick\/\"><strong>Aquastick<\/strong><\/a> as a filler for the cavities, followed by the application of NCH <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nchasia.com\/en-sg\/product\/salvage-2\/\">Salvage II Plus<\/a><\/strong>, which encapsulates rust and serves as both a primer and topcoat.<\/p>\n<p>Since implementing our solutions, the paint shop has not experienced any rust or paint loss on the tank walls for over six months.
