Problem Statement

Parts made on cutting machines are usually covered with cutting oil, so the oil must be removed after machining. Companies that produce many parts spend a lot of time and effort cleaning them.

In this case, the customer cleaned each part by hand using a solvent-based cleaner. This process took a lot of labor, and the cost of cleaning chemicals kept rising.

Result
We suggested using the ST200 immersion cleaning system together with Aquasol Neutra Split LF, a water-based concentrated cleaner. This solution removes cutting oil effectively while keeping costs low.

The results were

• Up to 30 parts can now be cleaned at the same time by immersion, greatly reducing manual work
• Solvent-based cleaners are no longer needed, which reduces fire risk
• Workers have much less exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Aquasol Neutra Split LF can be diluted up to 100 times, greatly lowering cleaning costs
