Due to exposure to water, mud, and high loads in the field, standard commercial greases often fail to maintain an effective oil film. This leads to frequent re-greasing and part replacement.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of our customers in Nakashibetsu, Eastern Hokkaido, who runs a farming operation, previously used commercial grease on the joints of their liquid fertilizer spreader. As a result, they experienced frequent lubrication and part replacement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Result<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We recommended <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Premalube<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014a grease designed to reduce lubrication frequency and overall grease consumption.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The results were as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previously, lubrication was required every three days; now, once every two weeks is sufficient.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Annual grease consumption was reduced from approximately 70 cartridges to about 15.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joint replacements, which were previously needed three times a year, are no longer necessary, resulting in a cost saving of approximately \u00a51.2 million.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lubrication time has been significantly reduced.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lower grease usage also contributed to a reduction in CO\u2082 emissions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the superior lubrication performance of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Premalube<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the amount of grease required was reduced to less than one-third of the previous level.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a result, we were able to reduce overall grease consumption, grease purchasing costs, and labor costs associated with lubrication.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, the joints\u2014previously requiring replacement three times a year due to heavy loads\u2014no longer needed to be replaced.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since each replacement costs approximately \u00a5400,000, this led to a significant reduction in maintenance costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NCH Asia Pacific provides optimal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nchasia.com\/en-sg\/solution\/lubricants\/\">lubrication solutions<\/a> that help protect equipment, reduce costs and labor, and minimize environmental impact for our customers.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agricultural machinery contains numerous lubrication points.
