NCH India tries to make a difference for underserved children

CHENNAI, India –NCH India announced that, in celebration of 100th anniversary of NCH's global establishment, volunteered at HOPE, Choolaimedu CHENNAI for underserved children.  

Through this program employees of NCH India were able to make snacks for a home shelter which aims in removing stigma, creating awareness and empowering mentally challenged community. 

Christy Mani, NCH India Country Manager, said “I am glad to be part of a socially responsible company which involves developing business with a positive relationship to the society in which we operate”.

This will be one of the CSR programs that NCH is proceeding with globally in honor of its 100th anniversary. Our goal is to have all the NCH employees from 50 countries volunteer their time to contribute to their communities and complete more than 100 different CSR activities in total across globe by 2019.

About HOPE - Home for Destitute - mentally challenged

Hope Public Charitable trust is a Non-Profit organization located at Ambattur, Chennai, India. This organization strives to “Promote the living conditions of challenged community by providing Special Education, Vocational training and Rehabilitation services”.

Hope aims in creating awareness and empowering mentally challenged community. It also strives for the empowerment of marginalized women through various skill training programs.

The logo itself symbolizes “Hope” which means “Providing Self-confidence along with service to face life’s challenges to lead a meaningful life in the society”
